We know that longevity is the very measure of a wine’s nobility, especially for a Riserva. Wine is a creature in continuous transformation. Its personality shows different characteristics over the years and is enriched by evolutionary profiles that cannot be appreciated in the first years of the bottle and which constitute its value.

Our land and some of our parcels are particularly suited to producing long-lived wines; for these selected vines, we carry out a targeted approach, both agronomic and in the cellar, aimed at producing Riservas destined to challenge time. But it is also true that being in the territory of Radda, our wines have silky tannins and harmony in their DNA from a young age.

And it is precisely for this fidelity to the territory but also for our vision/aspiration towards a more contemporary style, that we tend to produce a Chianti Classico focused on freshness and verticality, while maintaining a structure capable of evolving over time.

Producing a red wine with a light and tasty sip, immediately drinkable but also deep, multifaceted and intriguing is not easy at all. For Chianti Classico we use quality and perfectly ripe grapes. We carefully follow the macerations and the extraction of tannins, we dose the help of wood a lot so as not to alter the aromatic profile. For this reason we want to make it clear that ours are not “simple” bottles, because behind these wines there is a great work in the vineyard and an extreme sensitivity in the cellar.

Our Chianti Classico becomes an invitation to immerse yourself in the essence of Radda and requires an attentive and curious palate, capable of appreciating its complexity under the fresh, elegant and balanced guise.

While longevity is a well-established value for Riserva wines, we believe that readiness is a distinctive value for Chianti Classico.
